This 5 minute warm up is suitable for intermediate students. The warm up should be used as the starting clip for all of your barre workouts followed by the videos of the areas you wish to concentrate on. This progressive warm up incorporates movements such as squats, knee lifts and lunges alongside traditional ballet movements such as tendus, battements and curtseys. This is essential at the start of any barre class in order to mobilise the major joints of the body and increase body temperature and heart rate.
